Here are some of my sketches in preparation for creating silkscreens. The better you make your tool, the better your art will become. Some designs are meticulously calculated. Others are more spontaneous. There are many factors to consider besides the design, including what will be painted, screened, color adding, and subtracting. Sometimes many layers of dye are used.
